Dani (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist with almost 20 years’ experience across a range of areas, including corrections, health, police and defence. She has worked in private practice for several years, assisting adults to improve their mental health and general wellbeing.

Dani has a special interest in Defence, Veteran and First-Responders mental health, and has worked in this field for the past 10 years. She currently offers support to current serving ADF members (approved provider for ADF Health Services BUPA), veterans (via DVA) and first-responders for a variety of issues, including trauma-related mental health.

Dani’s other area of interest is rural and remote mental health. Originally from a rural area herself, she understands the barriers that can be associated with accessing health care, as well as the unique challenges that people in these areas can face.

Dani has an interest in the following areas:

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar Affective Disorder
  • Adjustment issues

Dani draws from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Dani is a registered provider with the Queensland Police Service SelfRefer program.

As a board approved supervisor, Dani is also able to offer supervision services to students completing their provisional psychologist internship program.
