Cancellation Policy

Our Cancellation Policy

At Room to Grow Psychology we have a cancellation policy for short notice cancellations. This assists your psychologist in being able to fill this appointment from their waitlist. It also means if you are waiting for an earlier appointment, you may be offered one sooner.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your session or fail to arrive for a session, inclusive of forgetting it was scheduled, the full session fee will be incurred. Day of cancellations impacts both clients waiting for a session and the psychologist who spent the morning preparing the session. 

If you cancel 25-48 hours before your appointment the fee is $165.

Please note: Notice of cancellation needs to be given during business hours so our admin team can attend to this cancellation.

Please give as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment.

Cancellations or reschedules made within 24-48 hours’ of appointment time

Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice of appointment time, or missed appointments (no show)

Full Session Fee

Please note:

If your cancelled appointment time is able to be booked with another client, the cancellation fee will be waived.  

If your appointment is paid for by NDIS, Workcover, Employee Assistance, DVA, or another third party, you may be responsible for cancellation fees, please check with your third party provider if you are unsure.
