Dr Allanah Hockey

BPsych Sci (Hons), MPsych (Clin), PhD, MAPS

Allanah (she/her) holds a combined Masters/ PhD in Clinical Psychology and has experience working with individuals, groups, and families across private practice, inpatient, and outpatient mental health settings. In addition to her therapeutic work, Allanah has taught Undergraduate Psychology as a sessional academic in university settings.

Allanah is a warm, empathic and compassionate psychologist who values a flexible, strengths-based and collaborative approach to therapy. Allanah enjoys working with clients to help them identify and shift long-held patterns in their thoughts and behaviours that may be contributing to mental health and interpersonal difficulties, as well as building skills to proactively manage mental health.

Allanah utilises a range of evidenced based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
